House Ale

In search of a basic "house" beer and ale recipe, something that you can get anytime at medford, whether in the bottle or on tap*, and the hoppy, malty goodness of said will absolutely knock your dick into your watch pocket!

House IPA
  • 10 lbs 2 row pale

  • Wyeast 1056 - American Ale

  • 1 oz Palisade hops (pellet )

  • 1 oz Nugget hops (homegrown)


OG: 1.050
FG: 1.012

~5% abv

Bottled on April 13th: 39 pops, 1 1.5L bottle for the end of summer fest!

As per usual I had some trouble bottling (a leaky bottle filler junction this time, it's always something) so there were a couple pints left in the bottling bucket after all the bottles were capped. Although this still needs some timefor conditioning preliminary tasting places it comparable to Boddingtons for aroma, flavor and body, only smoother! Can't wait!
